Bad Day for Former Pat's WR

On the morning of Saturday, March 14 former Pats WR Donte Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian in Miami. Stallworth has been charge with DUI manslaughter and faces jail time. Stallworth will also be subject to further discipline by the NFL. He was previously involved in the NFL substance abuse program before he signed with the Pats prior to the 2007.

He has 6 years remaining on a 35M contract with the Cleveland Browns. The accident happened at 7am after a night of alleged drinking by Stallworth in Miami. On Friday, March 13, Stallworth was due to be paid a 4.5M roster bonus. Could this be the result of excessive celebration the night before on the part of Stallworth?
