Another Bad Trade

I will never understand why teams trade away a ton of draft picks to move up to the number one or two slot in the NFL draft. The Philadelphia Eagles are the latest team to make this mistake when they made their big trade with the Cleveland Browns.

The Eagles are desperate for a quarterback. They are willing to roll the dice and draft an unproven one. They will get the overall #2 pick in the draft from the Browns in exchange for their own 8th overall pick, third-round (77th), fourth-round (100th), first round in 2017, and second-round in 2018. The Eagles will also get the 2017 fourth round pick of the Browns.

This has all the potential of being a bad deal. If it is, the Eagles front office people will pay the price.
