It's hard to make sense about the latest report by ESPN linking Spygate and Deflategate. They feel that the Pats were issued a harsher punishment to make up for their perceived slap on the wrist in 2007.

The timing is very dubious, coming days after Tom Brady's four game suspension was vacated. Commissioner Roger Goodell claims to have not read ESPN's report.

This thing will never go away. Spygate and Deflategate will be with the Pats, Belichick and Brady forever.
