Sponsors Speak

The NFL must be concerned about the backlash from the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson incidents. The Vikings reversed a decision to reinstate Peterson after sponsors threatened to terminate their financial agreements with the team.

Rice and Peterson have already seen their endorsements dry up. No team wants to lose a source of revenue. The Vikings had no option. It might take quite a bit of time for Peterson's case to make it through the legal system.

It's only a matter of time before another player gets arrested. The NFL is being closely watched.
