No RedZone

The NFL has been looking at ways to enhance the game day experience for fans who buy tickets and show up.

One possibility is continuous broadcasting of the RedZone Channel during the game. EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville might be the first one to try it. They are installing two video screens in each end zone. At 17,626 square feet, each is more than a third of an acre.

There is a concern that the crowd reaction to watching the monitors could take detract from what's happening on the field. I totally agree with this. I hope Gillette Stadium never installs them.

I still believe in going to the stadium to watch the game. I try to take it all in. The cost of the ticket is another story.
