Millions Of Reasons To Complain

WR Victor Cruz just signed a 6 year/$46 million contract with the New York Giants. He has $15.6 million guaranteed, but that hasn't stopped him from talking about being the 18th highest paid receiver in the league.

Cruz has been one of the most productive receivers over the last two seasons and wanted to be paid accordingly. Since he was a restricted free agent, the Giants offered him a tender which he accepted before finalizing his new deal.

He is a fan favorite, but his comments come across as whining. He mentioned how he could have taken the tender and played out his final year in New York before becoming an unrestricted free agent. His success has lead him to endorsements that might not be available in other cities. He is making his money on the other end. He should quit complaining about his paltry millions because that gets old real fast with fans.
