Losing The Gold

It's easy to see why so many NFL players have no money when they leave the game. They waste it on frivolous things such as cars and jewelry. DT Shaun Rogers of the New York Giants could be the poster boy for wasteful spending.

He made the news for being robbed of jewelry after inviting a few people back to his hotel room in Miami after a night of partying. He fell asleep while the group was in the room. When he awoke, his jewelry was missing from the room safe.

Rather than invest his money, Rogers ended up being robbed of two watches worth $160K, earrings for $100K, a diamond necklace for $70K, three bracelets for $60K and a gold necklace for $50K.

Meanwhile, Chad Johnson is out of football, but continues to drive around in his Lamborghini.
