Tim Tebow fans were waiting all season for Mark Sanchez to get the hook. When it finally happened yesterday, Greg McElroy was the one who got the call because Tebow is still nursing a rib injury.
It was a shock to see Sanchez get pulled with the team losing 6-0 in the third quarter. McElroy brought the team down the field for a touchdown which proved to be the wining score.
The fans went wild in their celebration. Rex Ryan now has a quarterback controversy on his hands. He has refused to name a starter for the game next Sunday. The team is now 4-8 and on life support. There were over 20,000 empty seats in Met Life stadium for the fiasco yesterday. Fans are demanding a change.
Sanchez and Ryan are bound together. One of them won't be there next season.
