The End For Luke Kuechly

Panthers LB Luke Kuechly announced his retirement today at the age of 28 after eight stellar seasons, including seven Pro Bowl selections. He walked away from a contract that had two years and $20 million remaining.

He didn't want to retire, but felt it was the right time. Since 2015, he has suffered three concussions and endured two shoulder surgeries.

His record speaks for itself after being the ninth overall pick in 2012. He was building a Hall of fame resume until it all ended today.
