Dollars for Kirk

Players complain about getting the franchise tag instead of a long term contract, but Redskins QB Kirk Cousins should just count his guaranteed money.

The team gave him the tag for the second consecutive year. He made $19.95 million last year and will get another $23.94 million for this season.

This will be his third season as a starter. Long term deals are nice to have, but guaranteed money is better.
