Buying More Time

The New York Jets continue to spiral downward with their latest move. Rather than fire Coach Todd Bowles and GM Mike Maccagnan, they decided to fire five coaches and announced the retirement of Offensive Coordinator Chan Gailey.

What do they hope to accomplish with this? Why not just clean house completely? This moves buys Bowles and Maccagnan one more year before they get fired.

They can forget about going to the playoffs next season.
