Matthew Slater serves as the team's representative for the NFLPA. He had some interesting comments about Thursday night games.

I agree with him about the league not always being concerned about player safety with games four days apart. He brought up the issue of the bye week being scheduled along the Thursday night game. It makes a lot of sense, but it's not happening.
