Butler Not Answering

CB Malcolm Butler is already in Coach Belichick's dog house after showing up late for the team's voluntary OTA's. He was delayed by weather and let the team know, but it wasn't good enough.

The Super Bowl hero and savior was held out of practices for six days before he served his penance. Butler has been muted on this, but the NFL Player's Association has filed a grievance on his behalf. He wants no part of it.

The last thing he needs is to become a distraction for his coach. The PA has already made a laundry list of items they want from the team, thanks to Butler.

The workouts are voluntary according to the CBA. Just don't ask Coach Belichick if they are, especially for a guy who wasn't drafted.
