Less Expensive Mayo

LB Jerod Mayo has been a key part of the defense until injuries derailed him the last two seasons. His spot on the roster might be in danger. He is due to make $7 million this season with a $10.29 salary cap hit.

There is now way the team will pay him that much money for a player who is becoming injury prone. The team values his leadership and playing skills, but he might price himself off the team.
