A Defensive Icon

There are so many great stories among the players and coaches in today's AFC and NFC Championship games.

Steelers Defensive Coordinator Dick LeBeau has been coaching since he finished his Hall of Fame playing career with the Detroit Lions (1959-1972). He is credited with developing the "zone blitz" early in his coaching career.

At the age of 74, he shows no signs of slowing down. It's hard to believe that he was on the playing field on November 9, 1970 when his Lions lost to the New Orleans Saints on a last minute 63 yard field goal by Jim Dempsey. That record still stands after 40 years.
