There is a lot of excitement around the selections the Pats made in the draft, especially QB Mac Jones.
Opportunities for some have a direct impact on others.
Former UConn QB Jake Delegala spent the season on the practice squad while getting a year's worth of experience and league service.
The team released him after the selection of Jones. Where he ends up is anyone's guess.
It will happen to many other players.
