Who Wants To Play QB?

Covid is turning the NFL season upside down. The Broncos are the latest to deal with a situation that impacts the overall competitive process.

When they face the Saints today, they will be without any of the quarterbacks on the active roster. They will start rookie WR Kendall Hinton from their practice squad.

Hinton played quarterback three seasons at Wake Forest where he had a line of 133/253 for 1,504 yards and eight TD's. He also rushed for 1,059 yards on 188  carries with 12 TD's.

It sounds like he gives them their best chance, but the team wanted to add offensive quality coach Rob Calebrese to their active roster. They felt he knew the offense better than anyone else.

The NFL nixed that move as they didn't want to get into a situation with coaching staffs becoming storage areas for potential players.
