The Starting Five

Football is all over television today with five college bowl games and two NFL contests. The Idaho Potato and Camellia Bowls will go up against the NFL. Good luck to them.

The Camellia Bowl is a matchup between the Sun Belt and Middle America Conferences. The game features two mediocre teams with Bowling Green (7-5) and Southern Alabama (6-6).

A game like this gives me hope that my UMass Minutemen will make it to a bowl someday. A record of 7-5 should do it. Other MAC teams have bowl games too.
