Brady Reflects

Tom Brady was finally back on the fiels with the Pats, attending one of the teams OTA's. In an interview with Sports Illustarted, he reflected on a number of topics including his burning passion to continue his playing career.

Brady will turn 32 this summer and will be starting his 10th season. He stated that he wants to play another 10 years until he is 41. That is a very ambitious goal for any player in a league where careers end on any given play.

Tedy Bruschi will turn 36 on June 9th. Free Agent, Rodney Harrison will turn 37 during the upcoming season if he continues to play. Playing in the NFL after the age of 35 is more of the exception than the rule. Unlike baseball, you can't hide someone as a DH or reliever.

I would love to see Brady play forever. Most likely, he has reached the mid-point of his career if not more. Brady mentioned how tough it would be for him to stop playing. He still has a a lot of time ahead of him, assuming that he is not effected by injuries. Time is ticking and Father Time is chasing down Bruschi and Harrison. Who knows when it will overtake number 12. I hope it's a long was off, but you never know.
