Trade Talk Nonsense

There has been too much trade talk involving QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Everyone claims to have the inside track on what will happen. They are so delusional into thinking that Jimmy G could command a slew of draft picks.

When the Pats traded Matt Cassel to the Chiefs after the 2008 season, they only got a 2nd round pick. They also had to add LB Mike Vrabel to the deal, in spite of Cassel going 11-5 as a starter in place of Tom Brady.

Quarterbacks can command a price, but Garopollo has only played in two games. If they trade him, they have no backup other than Jacoby Brissett
