Former Pats DE Chris Long is a free agent and faces the same situation as other veteran players. There has not been a rush to their door with offers from teams.

Long indicated that he is weighing his options and looking for the right team. That's a nice way of saying that there has not been much interest in him. The same can be said for LeGarrette Blount and Branden Bolden.

Teams can fill their needs with cheaper players from the draft. Some of the current free agents will be looking for work in November. The call might never come.
