It looks like the Pats and Malcolm Butler will part ways after they allowed his agent to try and come to terms with the Saints on a new contract. The teams would then agree upon compensation for the Pats through a trade.
Will the defense be better by losing Butler and Logan Ryan, while adding Stephon Gillmore? I don't think fans were planning on losing both starters from the Super Bowl team.
Coach Belichick always has a plan. Hopefully, they don't revert back to the old days when Julian Edelman was taking defensive snaps.
