Holiday Games
The NBA has owned Christmas Day with their broadcasts. There are not many other options. Since the holiday falls on Sunday this year, the NFL saw a great way to cash in.
Most teams will play in the afternoon on the 24th, including the Pats. Fans can watch the Bengals and Texans on Christmas Eve.
The NFL will take over Christmas Day at 4:40pm with the Ravens at the Steelers. The 8:20pm game will have the Broncos at the Chiefs.
The planned this in advance. It's all about the money in the cash register. They are the best at doing it.
