Paying Peyton

It's clear to see that Peyton Manning wants to return to the Denver Broncos in 2015 for his 18th season. Coach John Fox wants him back. The big question is whether the team can afford him for another season.

Manning will be entering the third season of his four year deal. His salary of $19 million will create a $21.5 million salary cap hit. The team needs to decide if they can devote that much of their financial resources to one position.

Manning might not be that flexible when it comes down to the money. It will become a key factor in his future.
