Clouded Facts
We heard today that special teams captain Matthew Slater will miss 4-6 weeks because of a broken wrist suffered during the win over the Jets. As with any player injury, fans are left wondering what the real story is.
The Pats comply with the NFL when it comes to reporting injuries. They give out as little information as possible. When things are leaked, it can get a little crazy.
There are conflicting reports on how long Danny Amendola will be out. He was on the practice field today which must have been some type of charade by Coach Belichick. Doe he need surgery or not?
I bet Amendola's injury is a factor the entire season unless he ends up on IR. They need to sit him down for a few weeks, otherwise it will be a chronic problem for the rest of the season.
Rob Gronkowski is allegedly 50/50 for playing on Sunday, whatever that means.
