Who Will Replace Him?

It looks like a done deal for Wes Welker to sign with the Denver Broncos. I knew it was going to end this way. The Pats just didn't want to offer Welker the type of deal he wanted. They must be ok with it. They think they can replace him on the offense with Aaron Hernandez. Only time will tell.

I wonder what the Pats offered him. It's hard to believe it got to this point, but I wish him luck in the future. He will be the perfect guy for Peyton Manning.

We have learned to trust Coach Belichick with the franchise. I'll admit that I have a hard time thinking that Welker could last another three years because of the vicious hits he has taken. It's hard to guarantee money for a player who is one step away from a career ending injury.
