They All Want It

Commissioner Roger Goodell has indicated that he would like to have a new CBA in place before the start of the regular season. Although it doesn't expire until the end of the 2020 season, it would be advantageous for everyone.

Players want a quicker route to free agency and a bigger slice of the revenue. Owners want an 18 game regular season. They also want to negotiate new television and media contracts.

It's all about the money. Everyone will also express a concern about player safety.
