Ryan Leaf

Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning were the two top draft picks in the 1998 NFL draft. There was endless discussion of who should go first. The Colts picked Manning with the first selection while the Chargers went with Ryan Leaf.

Manning went on to have a career that will lead him to the Hall of Fame, while Leaf flamed out after a few seasons.

It got worse for Leaf over the years with numerous arrests for drugs and other charges. In 2012, he was arrested in Montana for breaking and entering which violated his previous parole in Texas. He ended up serving two years in prison.

It appears that Leaf has make a miraculous comeback after ESPN announced that they will hire him as a college football analyst. He now has another opportunity to make the most of his life.
