Kicking Money Out The Door

Some NFL contracts are getting out of control. The 49er's finally agreed to terms with kicker Robby Gould after threatening him with the franchise tag.

They gave him 4 years/$19 million, with $10.5 million guaranteed for the first two seasons.

Gould has been a great kicker, but those who play the position know how much they live on the edge. It would be a shock if Gould ever collected all of his money.
