Money Gone From Table


With the pending start of free agency, we are already seeing large amounts of money being given to players. The numbers sound very impressive, but most don't ever see it all.

Former Pats LB Jamie Collins is a great example. The Brown released him in a salary cap move with two years remaining on his contract.

He left the Pats for a four year/$50 million deal after the 2016 season. In the end, he collected about $27 million from the Browns. He might never get another deal like he had, but he certainly isn't broke.
