Michael Bennett

The Pats added a little insurance, in light of Trey Flowers being a free agent, when they traded with the Eagles for DE Michael Bennett. They gave up a 2020 5th round draft pick and received Bennett and the Eagles 7th round pick in the same year.

Bennett comes with no guaranteed money, but has a good shot at making the team. Will this bring his brother Martellus out of retirement? The former tight end for the Pats has often spoken about being on the same team with his brother.

As in the case of Jason McCourty, players still need to make the final roster for their dreams to come true.
